El Segundo, CA – Classic Party Rentals, the leading event rental company in the U.S., has announced the acquisition of Aztec Tents & Events, one of the nation’s premiere tent rental companies. With this acquisition, Classic Party Rentals continues its growth in the event industry and greatly expands its tenting and structure capabilities. The company is now comprised of 12 divisions and generates combined annual revenues of more than $120 million.
Classic Party Rentals facilitates a variety of high-profile events, including Hollywood awards shows and premieres, celebrity weddings, charity events and intimate private affairs. Aztec Tents & Events is a leading supplier of rental tent structures for a wide range of national events, including PGA golf tournaments, auto racing events with NASCAR, IRL, CART, NHRA, various professional tennis tour events, the ESPN X Games, Los Angeles Fashion Week and the Albuquerque Balloon Festival. Both firms are well recognized for their experienced professionals who have overseen thousands of events from start to finish.

Classic Party Rentals will assume Aztec Tents & Events’ diverse inventory of rental tents and structures, including more than six million square feet of tent and structuring. The current Aztec team will continue to serve clients out of their offices in Torrance, CA. The rental division of Aztec will now be called Classic Tents. Classic Party Rentals did not purchase the manufacturing division of Aztec. Aztec remains the sole owner and operator of the manufacturing arm. The manufacturing division is now known as Aztec Tents.
“This acquisition allows Aztec, now Classic Tents, to focus its resources on tents, structures and related services,” said Aztec Tents & Events President Chuck Miller, who will continue to run the new division. “More importantly, it offers our clients access to Classic’s deep inventory of tables, chairs, china, high-end table top, specialty linens and kitchen equipment.
